For uncountable seasons there have been 4 groups of cats called the clans. Each clan has its special abilities. Thunderclan can stalk and hunt mice and birds in thick under growth. Shadowclan feeds on frogs, reptiles and few rodents under tall pines and little undergrowth, they say the winds from the north blow to them and chill there hearts. Riverclan hunts fish in rivers and the only clan to enjoy getting there pelts wet. Windclan is the most fast of all the clans hunting rabbits on the moors and hills, and sleeping in the open. Each clan has a leader blessed with 9 lives from starclan, Firestar leads Thunderclan, Blackstar leads Shadowclan, Leapordstar leads Riverclan, and Tallstar leads Windclan. Each clan also has a deputy chosen by the leader after the last dies or retires, the deputy must be picked before moonhigh. Each clan has its own equally divided territory and a camp, each cats loyalty is to its own.
