Sermon Title: Serving Through Intimacy
Sermon Text: 1 Cor. 6:12–7:9
Sermon Summary: God gives us many good gifts and all of them are meant to make our hearts long for and love him more. The love that is shared in marriage is one of those good gifts. It should make us think of the self-giving love that Jesus had for us, he did not come to be served but to serve, and we get to share in that service by our intimate love for one another. But even that love that we share with one another is nothing compared to the love we receive from Jesus and the joy we will experience when we get to heaven. So this Sunday I want us to think about how love that is shared between two people is a picture of Jesus’ love for us!

Memory Verse: 1 Cor. 6:19–20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
