The Deluge Genesis 7 Summary: Today we look at one of the most scary moments in all the Bible: The day God destroyed all life on the earth through a flood. The only people saved were Noah and his family! This is a dark story but a very important one that teaches us that God will judge sin AND that He will protect His people from the storm of His wrath. Let’s think about it: Outline: 1. The Lord protects us from the storm of His wrath ` 2. God’s wrath against sin is complete and overwhelming 3. Do not ignore the fact that Jesus will return and the final judgment will come 4. Live a life that is different because of the coming final judgment 5. Run to Christ who took God’s judgment to wash you from your sin Verse: Genesis 7:7 (ESV) 7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood.
