Prescription drugs are prescribed by a doctor to improve your health. When medication is taken without a prescription it is considered abuse and is illegal. Many times people overdose on painkillers because they are trying to get high. There are also prescription drugs that speed up your heart rate called stimulants. One of the most common types is Adderall and when abused can cause heart attacks.
