Language Skills: Building Vocabulary

You will maintain a vocabulary section in the back of your spiral bound notebook. The vocabulary may come from the Reading or Math class but you must record any word(s) introduced to you in either class. Complete the following for EACH word: find its definition, identify the part of speech,is there a homophone? a synonym?a antonym?Construct a sentence using the new word. Use the word verbally whenever an opportunity presents itself; that makes the word yours now.
