Lent is the time for preparing ourselves for the joy and the new life of Easter. We remember how Jesus suffered and died on the cross for us. During Lent we share in Jesus' sacrifice of love-His death on the cross. We can do this by praying, offering sacrifices and doing acts of love for others.
