This is a wordsearch that contains most everything that has to do with the cardiovescular system. The cardiovascular system is made up of your heart, blood, and blood vessels. The purpose of this system is to transport materials to and from your blood cells. Blood is made up of red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), and plasma. Plasma has these 2 blod cells and platelets in it. There are 3 types of blood vessels. There are arteries, which take blood away from the heart to the rest of the body, Veins, which direct blood to the heart, and capillaries. Capillaries are the smallest blood vessels in the body, and are 10 timees smaller that a strand of hair!
