A Shared Life Romans 12:1-8 Summary: Have you every thought about what you are good at? This summer we’ve been talking about how the Gospel changes everything, and this week we will talk about how Jesus’ dying and rising again for us should change the way we live together as God’s church. Part of that is learning to love each other by discovering and using the gifts God has given each of us. Each on of you has a unique and wonderful gift that God has given to bless his church! Let’s think about that today: Outline: Our shared life as God’s people is: 1. Founded on Jesus 2. Shaped by mercy 3. Lived in mutual dependence 4. So how does the Gospel shape our life together? Here are questions to ask yourself: a. Do I see myself as a needed part of the Body? b. Do I prioritize my life as a needed part of the Body? c. Am I giving and receiving the blessings of Body life? Verse: Romans 12:4–5 So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
