Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven Ps 32 Kids Summary Kids, have you ever done something you weren’t supposed to do? Maybe you took an extra cookie, or you cheated at school, or you said a word that you knew you were not supposed to say and you felt really bad. You felt so bad you wanted to crawl in the deepest, darkest, most hidden hole and hope that no one would find you. And then it happened, you were found out and you asked for forgiveness and you were forgiven! All of a sudden you didn’t feel so bad anymore, in fact you felt like you could go out and play again, that everything was right in world. This is exactly what happened to King David and we are going to talk about it. Jesus left us this great song written by King David to encourage us that no matter what we do or have done if we confess our sins to Him, He will forgive us! Isn’t that great news?!?!?! Jesus loves you so much that he will forgive you, even when you don’t feel forgivable. Outline 1. The Power of Forgiveness 2. The Effects of Guilt 3. The Process of Repentance 4. The Blessed Outcome Memory Verse: Ps 32:1 Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
