Luke 12:31-21
Summary: Sometimes Jesus told stories (called parables) to help teach us great spiritual truths. Today we'll look at one where He teaches about our temptation to love money and things more than God. Do you find yourself wishing you had more stuff? As Christmas gets close, do you think a lot about the presents you will get? Let's listen to Jesus to help learn to value Jesus above all things:

1. What does my heart want? Jesus teaches us to guard our hearts against coveting
2. What does my soul need? Jesus warns us not to put our hope in earthly riches
3. How can I be truly happy? Jesus teaches us to be truly content we must be rich toward God
4. What does Jesus offer me? Jesus promises something greater than riches: He will give us treasure in heaven!
Verse: Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
