When someone dies, they often leave their things to their family or friends. If that person is rich, they leave a lot of money behind to someone else. This is often called an inheritance. Today we'll hear this word in our passage, and it tells us that God has given us an inheritance as Christians. It is different because God is not going to ever die and leave us his possessions. No, instead God has told us we are going to inherit a future in heaven with him because we've been adopted as His children. Let's think about it: Outline: 1.
