Church and Religion: 120624_kids

Hey guys- bryan sent me his morning sermon outline- see below. Let's put this in the bulletin and kids bulletin (obviously with blanks instead of the filled in outline). Let me know if you have questions. Simon, his Sermon title is "Jerusalem the Golden". Thanks! 1. Your starting point: pilgrimage (vv. 1-2) 2. Your final destination: Jerusalem (vv.3-5) 3. What to do in the meantime? (vv. 6-9) Thanks- David Text: Psalm 122 Bryan Estelle Preaching (he gave no title) Summary: Where do you look forward to going to? To grandma and grandpa’s house? Maybe a special place your family goes together? How about church? Do you look forward to worship? Our psalm today expresses God’s people’s excitement about meeting with Him. Listen closely to our guest pastor as he speaks about the joy of meeting with our God. Since there is no outline, let's do two verses: Revelation 19:5 (ESV) 5 And from the throne came a voice saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great.” Verse: Psalm 122 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!”
